Winemaking 101



What a fucking joke, this shit is so easy.  $60 and I’ll have 30 bottles of wine in 6 months?  Sign me up.

 I picked up a box of shiraz grape concentrate from the beer and wine shop, poured it into a bucket, added some spring water and a packet of yeast then closed that hoe up with an airlock and put it in an extra bedroom to ferment.  7 days I moved the shit to a 6 gallon glass carboy (jug) and put it in my basement to continue fermenting.  My wife was so happy to no longer smell the “giant grape fart” that had been polluting our house from the fermentation.

Next week I’ll have to add some crap to the carboy that is supposed to help clear it up.  We’ll see.
